Education

SCCHK and FICS’s aim is to set an appropriate standard in theoretical and practical sports chiropractic education for chiropractors wanting to develop special competence in the field of sports chiropractic and to be qualified to serve on FICS teams at official international events.

SCCHK is promoting high standards of education and practice in sports chiropractic, in part through the development of postgraduate sports chiropractic programs.

The Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Diploma (ICCSD) program produces The Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICSSP), a well-rounded individual chiropractor who is qualified to work at sporting events throughout the world. Furthermore, it is the minimum qualification required to be part of a FICS chiropractic delegation international event such as the Olympic and World Games.

What is an ICCSP?

The International Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner certificate is a postgraduate program. The faculty of the seminars are recognized International sports Chiropractors with vast experience in treating athletes at international sporting events.

For those who already have a postgraduate sports chiropractic qualification (e.g. CCSP or DACBSP in the US, or RCCSS in Canada) these degrees qualify for advance standing in the ICCSP through recognition of additional learning. For more information please contact FISC for details.
